Hi, I'm Steven Phung.

I’m a senior product designer with a lifelong obsession for systems, software, and solving real human problems. My journey started in grade 7, when my dad gifted me a computer and a copy of FoxPro. That curiosity hasn’t stopped since.

After moving to Australia to study IT at UTS, I discovered my love for design while working on an advanced programming project. I took interaction design electives, landed a gig at a small dev shop, and built a POS system and iOS app before I even graduated. I was hooked.

Since then, I’ve designed products across startups, scale-ups, and enterprises—everything from release management tools to AI copilots. Today, I design the next generation of telco experiences at Optus. My superpowers? Systems thinking, fast learning, and driving impact through cross-functional collaboration.
